I began working with Katie Page in September of 2008 after a wake up call from my doctor. I was approaching my 40th birthday and my body was aging years ahead of my chronological age. My thoughts went to my family. I wanted to be a strong, healthy mom for my kids and a wife that my husband could be proud to call his. So I got started, it wasn’t easy that’s for sure! I hadn’t exercised with any dedication in years! Katie met me where I was physically…with her expertise as a trainer, passion for fitness and healthful living and the compassion of a friend; she has helped strengthen me mind, body and soul. Recently, I listened as a doctor spoke to a group of women about healthful living. He said, "When your children are adults they will not take care of themselves the way that you take care of them—they will take care of themselves the way that they saw you take care of yourself while they were growing up." What an “Aha!” moment for me! I am so thankful to have met Katie, to be a part of her Bootcamp and to be a strong, healthy role model for my family. Thanks Katie!!
I attended my first boot camp over a year ago and I followed Katie’s advice about nutrition and clean eating. Through my attendance at camp, hearing “You can do anything for 15 seconds!”, pushing myself and following her advice I lost 2 sizes in clothing during the first few months and have kept 30 pounds off for over a year. My path has not been easy with health and emotional issues along the way, but Katie was there and supportive. She continues to encourage me at camp and tells me to “listen to my body” which I wasn’t so great at doing. One of the best parts of being a boot camp junkie is beating my 16 and 12 year old boys at arm wrestling and biking!! The other is the camaraderie and encouragement from fellow campers. It keeps you going and pushing harder!
This week was challenging, at least for me, but I have never felt so good and so strong. For me this a true personal journey, and I am a better mom, wife and friend for it. I relish the challenge every day I am there and while I might be a little tired and a lot sweaty, I am always so proud of what I have accomplished and amazed at what I am able to do. Thank you, and keep kickin' my ass... I know that is why I am there every morning. Thanks you for all you do!
Tribute to Katie Page and Katie's Fitness Boot Camp: "I started my first fitness boot camp 11 weeks ago. I am 55 years old and I was 45 pounds overweight. I couldn't hold a plank position for 10 seconds. I didn't even know what one was. I couldn't use a weight greater then 5 pounds, and I couldn't even do one sit-up (I had not been able to do one in 20 years). Yesterday, at the end of my second boot camp, I held a plank position for four minutes and twenty seconds and did 10 military sit-ups. I am using 10 pound weights and have started using 12's. I've lost 10 pounds and 20 inches!!! Katie's Fitness Boot Camp is the best thing that has happened to me since the birth of my son 19 years ago. Katie has given me the determination to jump back into life with vigor and aplomb. I look forward to her hardest workouts. She makes you challenge yourself and does it with positive reinforcements. No matter where I go or what I do in the the future, Katie's Fitness Boot Camp will always be my new beginning. I owe it all the Katie. Katie, YOU ROCK!
Just when I think I cannot be pushed any further, Katie pushes us out of our comfort zone, only to allow us to see that we are limitless! She’s clever, motivating, and the best fitness instructor I have had - and I’ve had many instructors, and even two trainers - no one could deliver in one year the results that Katie has in two five-week camps! I’m down 10% body fat and 17 overall inches!! Amazing! Thank you, Katie!
12 weeks, 16 pounds lost, down two clothes sizes and a loss of 22 inches; what else is there to say? This WORKS!! Learn to exercise, eat and live well. Compete only with yourself. The results are amazing and the results are invaluable. Getting SMALLER and STRONGER
I think I am lucky to be apart of such a great group of women...all ages, all sizes, and all fitness levels blended by one common goal...to become healthier women. I should have started this years ago!!
Hi Katie, I just wanted to say thank you for having the Katie Page Bootcamp. I was enrolled in both 4 wk summer camps with JR @ calvary location. Starting bootcamp was really tough since I had not worked out in years. After the first workout I couldn't lift my legs over the baby gates in our house! After much sweating and many sore muscles I was excited to see my post measurements. After 4 weeks I lost 3 inches around my waist, which was wonderful! I lost 3lbs and my arms and legs slimmed down. I was so happy with the results I joined for another 4 weeks. I lost 2 more inches and 3lbs during the second camp!! The overall change in my body was amazing! Thank you again Katie and thank you to JR for coaching an awesome camp!!
My inner thighs look so much better, my "saddle bags" are getting smaller, my arms are toning up, and best of all, the fat on my lower belly is almost gone! I dream of the day that my abs actually have some definition and no fat on them!!
You walk the walk and talk the talk. I received your ENLISTING NOW e-mails for over one year, and finally took the plunge and signed up for your camp! You always said that we will receive MORE than what most one-on-one personal trainers deliver at the gyms, and I am here to say, that that is an understatement. Your program is over the top! Your motivation and individual attention are way more than I have ever received at any local class or gym, from any instructor or trainer. I cannot imagine what I would do without your program or you! Thank you for giving me my SELF back! My kids notice. My husband notices. I notice! Thank you for every push-up, every squat, every burpee and sprint! You make what seems to be almost impossible, POSSIBLE! I don't know how you do what you do, but you do it so well! You have a gift! My daily workout consisted of only a one-hour morning walk. Knowing that I wanted and needed more, Fitness Boot Camp meets my needs with a complete body workout, not only for my heart, but with the added resistance training and core strengthening my body requires. Katie is so inspiring, incredibly motivating, and is truly engaging in my success. Another bonus is the wonderful support and camaraderie I have developed with the other women fitness boot campers in my class

Katie, One winter morning I was jogging (quite slowly) around the high school track when one of your boot camp recruits flew by me. Bumping into her later, she suggested I try going to Katie Page's Boot Camp for a good workout. I wasn't quite sure whether I was up for it until an opportunity to hike up Longs Peak (which was on my bucket list) came up and I knew I would have to be in shape especially since I was going to do this with my three sons. Longs Peak is a 14,000 foot peak which you begin hiking at 2am. So I signed up for your boot camp. I have been absolutely hooked from the first week. I have always been somewhat active but boot camp is a total workout. It's incredible to me that I am able to do more push ups than I have ever been able to do and proves that age should not limit you. I have never been this fit. Thanks for all that you do, the time that you put in, and stressing not only the exercise but the nutrition which is so important and the most difficult to adhere to. Just wanted you to know that all you do is appreciated. By the way, I never made it to the top of Longs Peak not because I couldn't, but because of ice. It still was an awesome experience.
I am addicted to Boot Camp! I had been searching for a program to supplement my running routine and stumbled upon your class in Suburban Living. The program is exactly what I was looking for - challenging with a great deal of variety. I certainly can notice the change in my body and the way that my clothes fit. In fact, my husband tells me that I am not going to class but to train, a much better description. I’m hooked!
